OAK RIDGE BAPTIST CHURCH (ORBC)
Welcome to ORBC – where every week is a Family Reunion! ORBC is made up of families of all ages and dynamics who want to do life God’s way. We discover God’s way by studying the Bible corporately and in small group settings designed to connect with you where you are. Whether you’re just starting to explore a relationship with Christ, a new believer, or more mature in your walk with God, ORBC has a place for you.
We enjoy connecting as a family at our church and in the community – through worship experiences, fellowship events and ministry opportunities that the whole family can enjoy.
Dr. Galen K. Cooper
Pastor Galen’s heart for ORBC is to be a family (of all ages) who lives its faith in such a way that people simply see Jesus. His desire is that those who find a home in this family would see a transformation in their “marriages and relationships, classrooms, and locker rooms, putting greens and baseball diamonds” because of the love of Christ in their lives. He welcomes all to ORBC’s “Weekly Family Reunion”, as he lovingly calls it, to spend time together in worship and Bible study.

When you are reprimanded, how do you respond to it? Do you handle it gracefully, or do you struggle with anger and frustration? Accepting criticism, while difficult, is a part of living in the way we are called to live. Let’s talk about biblically accepting...
Associate Pastor: Worship & Creative Arts
Chris Chapel’s passion at ORBC is to show his brothers and sisters in Christ that worship is much more than just singing songs. Worship is also living your everyday, ordinary life in a way that honors God and placing it before Him as an offering. Chris’ deep desire is to help you find the unique ways God has gifted you to point others back to Him.
