ORBC STUDENT MINISTRY

STUDENTS SEEKING CHRIST

Sundays @ 9:30am & 4:44pm | Wednesdays @ 5:01pm

(Yeah, you read that right!)

The student ministry at ORBC exists to shepherd each student on their journey to take personal ownership of their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Through worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and missions, students will encounter who they are called to be in Christ, and how they are called to live the Gospel in their everyday lives.

ORBC Students meet @ 9:30 AM for Sunday School and attend worship with their parents during the 11am service.

LET NO ONE LOOK DOWN ON YOUR YOUTHFULNESS,
BUT RATHER IN SPEECH, CONDUCT, LOVE, FAITH, AND PURITY,
SHOW YOURSELF AN EXAMPLE OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE.

Sundays

Sunday School / 9:30am

Students meet on Sunday mornings in small grade divided groups (7th-12th) to connect with one another and connect with God. Teachers really desire to provide relevant teaching and Biblical application. This is a great time to ask questions, learn tons, and dig deep into God’s word.

ORBC Student University / 5:00pm (4:44 Free Food)

Sunday nights is when we take additional time out of our week to intently study God’s Word, ask ourselves tough questions & boldly apply the truth to our lives.  Be sure to come early to hang out, eat & build relationships with others!

Wednesdays

5:01pm Dinner / 6:09pm Worship Service

Wednesday nights are designed to be a dynamic time of worship, Bible study, and hanging with friends. This night is for Jr. High and High School students alike. Wednesday Worship provides students a time to unplug and dig into the Scriptures in a way that is directly applicable to their everyday lives. Come check out the student band and free grub.

Other Stuff

We love to have fun at ORBC! In addition to our weekly scheduled events, we always have something going on. Our summer camp is always a huge hit for us… we normally take over 80 people with us to camp each year. We have DNOW weekend in February, spring break mission trips as well as in the summer, the SHOW (Somethings Happening On Wednesday) during the summer, lock-ins, game nights, Fields of Faith, See You at the Pole and much more! Make sure you keep an eye on the calendar and on our events page for new events… you never know when we are going to start something new!

Bridge 67

Bridge 67 ORBCIt’s so scary leaving Kidz World after 6th grade and stepping into our student ministry. Each August we set aside a night for acclimating all incoming 7th graders (and parents too). We do our best to Bridge the Gap between these two vastly different worlds. It’s super informative and so much fun!

Mission Opportunities

There is nothing better than watching students serve! Whether it is locally or globally, we want our students to take the hope and love for Christ to others in order to be true “World Changers”.

Short Term Mission Trips

In the summer, ORBC Students are on a mission! Junior High students take a Texas trip to Mission Arlington … it’s wow! High School students are given the opportunity to be on Mission in Belize, Central America. We are super excited about this long-term relationship.

Join us in serving locally and globally. Sometimes we just love on people and other times we share the Good News of Christ.
