New Year’s Resolutions

New year’s resolutions are a dime a dozen. However, it never hurts to resolve to better yourself and improve your relationship with God at the start of a new year. What new habits can you adopt? What bad habits can you abandon?

A few good resolutions to start with may include:

  • Reading through the whole Bible in a year
  • Volunteering more for those in need
  • Donating money or belongings to those in need
  • Building relationships with unsaved loved ones
  • Praying more often

Getting Closer to God This Year

Whether you make resolutions in the traditional sense or not, the start of a new year is always an excellent time to reevaluate your relationship with God. Remember–He loves you! He wants you to be close to Him all year round. Spend time in prayer and self-reflection to see how you can grow closer to God in 2021. Don’t worry about getting it right immediately. These things take time, and God is patient.

Looking Forward to 2021

The new year is a fresh start for all of us. It’s a chance to change ourselves and our world for the better. Regardless of your goals for 2021, make sure to spend time connecting more with your Heavenly Father.
