When you’re young, life seems endless, and opportunity is a given. But the older you get, the shorter life seems. As reality settles over you, what seemed infinite as a child begins to feel fleeting. As a child, you wished to be older, to have more freedom. When you got older you wished for success and a family. You soon find that you’re always chasing the next phases of life. Too often you waste time waiting for life to begin, not realizing that you’re already living it! Are you so focused on what 'could be' in the future that you lose sight of what you have in the present? Share on X
Be Thankful
It’s important to plan for tomorrow, working hard towards your goals and dreams. You need to have a general direction and goal in life. You need to work hard and dedicate that work to the Lord, and you need to make the most of your time. But in the midst of all of that, it’s vital that you take the time to live in the moment. Show gratitude for all that you have by making the most of every day.
Honor Your Life
Many people go through life feeling inadequate, wondering if they have a purpose. Whoever you are and whatever your life experiences, talents, physical ability, appearance or role—you have a purpose. You are on earth for a reason. The type of person you become is more important than your successes and failures in the world. It’s not who you are, it’s what you do.
Build The Church
Everyone wants to leave a legacy, knowing that their life mattered. You chase promotions and opportunities, and you want to provide a good life for yourself and your family. There’s nothing wrong with success or influence, but those things alone won’t change the world and they aren’t what you were made for. Christians were made to build the church. God made each one of with unique talents, personalities and skill sets for that very reason.
Plan For Tomorrow, Live in The Moment
Christians, make the most of your life. Chase your dreams. Work hard. Make your time count, because life passes quickly. However, in all your planning and working, don’t forget to stop and serve others, treasure your friends and family, and enjoy the life that the Lord has given you. Plan for tomorrow, but live in the moment.
